Motor Neurone Disease Association Donation

A cheque for £2700 was handed over by Sniffers Chris Butler and Colin Wilcox to Rachel and Sam from MNDA Coventry and Warwickshire Group on Saturday 25th November 2023.

The money was raised in two separate events. Firstly, our Virtual Racing Night held at Norton Lindsey Village Hall in September which managed to prise £1400 from the very generous 'gamblers'. Secondly, at the very real Sniffers Race Day at Stratford-upon-Avon Race Course, our lovely hosts Pertemps (https://www.pertemps.co.uk/) donated a massive £1300. A really big thank you to them.

The money will be used as and when a request for help is received, this could include installing a stairlift or upgrading a house to make more user friendly.

In a letter to the Sniffers, Sam wrote:
"Dear Chris & all the Stilton Sniffers.
We just wanted to write and say a huge thank you for your very kind donation to our group, you have raised an amazing amount of money and we can't thank you enough.
Your kind donation gift will help us to continue to provide support for people with MND, their families and carers across the Coventry and Warwickshire area."
