Stilton Sniffers Present £2,150 Donation to Myton Hospice
On 4 November, Rene, Robin and Alex visited Myton Hospice to present a cheque for £2,150 to Louise Careless, Community Fundraiser, and Sharon, Head Nurse. The donation represents half of the funds raised at our recent Golf Day, with the remaining 50% donated to Welcombe Hills School. The visit also marked the first official outing of our new “big cheque.”
During the visit, Louise provided a tour of the hospice and outlined the extensive range of support services available to patients and families. In addition to its in-house care unit, which includes accommodation for relatives, Myton Hospice offers spiritual and pastoral care, complementary therapies, counselling, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and a variety of respite care services.
We are proud to support the invaluable work carried out by Myton Hospice and look forward to continuing our partnership in the future.
